LOK CHETNA VIKASH SAMITI
Welcome to Lok Chetna Vikas Samiti. Since its establishment in 2010, Lok Chetna Vikas Samiti (LCVS) has been actively engaged in integrated community development initiatives across both urban and rural areas. At present, the organization is primarily focused on development activities in the districts of Almora, Bageshwar, and Nainital (Uttarakhand). LCVS implements a diverse range of programs aimed at uplifting marginalized communities. These include healthcare initiatives, vocational training, micro-insurance schemes, rural drinking water and sanitation projects, and human resource development programs designed to improve the socio-economic conditions of underprivileged populations. In particular, the organization gives strong emphasis to its Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, which is dedicated to equipping women with skills, resources, and opportunities to achieve financial independence and take on leadership roles within their communities.
